| Wat een toepasselijk thema bij Sunday Postcard Art: zeereizen. Dit weekend doet het grootste cruiseschip ter wereld Rotterdam aan. Morgen gaan we kijken.
Maar ik liet me inspireren door de oceaanstomers van vroeger (met dank aan de site van de Rotterdamse Lloyd, waar ik alle gebruikte plaatjes vond). A lovely theme this week with Sunday Postcard Art: sea-voyages. This weekend the largest cruiseship in the world will call at Rotterdam. Tomorrow we will take a look at her. But I got inspired by the older seacastles (thanks to this site of the Rotterdamse Lloyd, whre I found all the images for this card). |

SPA: insecten
| Insecten zijn nou niet de meest geliefde dieren, maar Lieveheersbeestjes (of zoals men in Rotterdam e.o. zegt: Kapoentjes) wekken wel vertedering. Ik zie ze graag in mijn tuin, want ze eten de bladluizen van de rozen op.Vandaar deze kaart, die ik voor het thema van deze week van Sunday Postcard Art maakte.
Insects are not quite my preferred animals. But I like the little Ladybugs, especially as they eat lots of greenflies from my roses. |

Naaien is het thema van deze week bij Sunday Postcard Art. Mooie gelegenheid om mijn lievelingsstempels te gebruiken en een toepasselijke kaart te maken. In het echt zijn de kleuren frisser, maar dit maakte de scanner ervan. Sewing is this week’s theme with Sunday Postcard Art. So I used my favourite stamps to make this card. In fact the colours are much brighter, but this is what the scanner made of it. |

| Wat zou er achter die deur zijn? Ze zijn heel nieuwsgierig en ik hoor ze bijna giechelen, deze kleine Japanse geisha’s. Een echt “oriental” plaatje, dat precies past in het thema van Sunday Postcard Art

| Elke week staat er bij Art Creations Friday een plaatje, waarmee je iets kunt maken. Dit keer was het een schattig meisje met een emmertje in de hand. Met Photoshop is het zo een tweeling en werd het deze kaart. Helemaal Hollands.

| Bij Secret Crafter hebben ze al een beetje zomer in het hoofd. Een dagje naar buiten is het thema. Nou ik hoef niet ver weg. Met een boek in mijn tuin, tussen de bloemen, ben ik gelukkig!

Sinds ik las dat het thema bij Sunday Postcard Art Parijs is, speelt het melodietje van “April in Paris” door mijn hoofd. Het lag dus voor de hand dat ik daar iets mee maakte.
